February 2015 Speaker Series Presentation

Join us at the next COAD meeting on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 where we will continue with the COAD Speaker Series. This meeting will be held at the new Whatcom Unified Emergency Coordination Center from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.  We will hear from the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program coordinator.  CERT is training which should allow individuals to better prepare for and respond to disasters.  For organizations, CERT trained people should be able to more quickly return to duty because they have done some preparation and are comfortable that their families and loved ones are OK following the event.
